Unprecedentedly reduces reflections and repels water: 'g.moth'

Prevents reflections on information displays and digital signage, making it easy to wipe off fingerprint smudges.

■Overview By applying the next-generation moth-eye structure film 'g.moth' to transparent glass or resin, it achieves a level of transparency that makes it seem as if there is nothing there. Furthermore, it has a strong water-repellent property, addressing the durability issues that were a weakness of conventional moth-eye structure films.

HT-ED (Light Distribution Diffusion Structure)

Seamless large-area solutions, including precise adjustments to the diffusion angle according to your requests!

The "HT-ED (Light Distribution Diffusion Structure)" is a product that can uniformly diffuse light while maintaining a high transmittance due to its special surface light distribution structure. It features a structure that can control light emitted from general light sources, lasers, LEDs, lighting fixtures, LCDs, and backlights. The standard HT-ED structure is specially designed for R&D and process development applications and is handled as a nickel mold. 【Specifications (Excerpt)】 ■HT-ED-C25B ・Pattern: Light Distribution Diffusion ・Diffusion Type: Circular Diffusion ・Diffusion Angle (FWHM): 25° ・Material: Nickel *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Haneda Airport Terminal 2 International Terminal Expansion Project - Large-Scale ETFE Membrane Roof

A large membrane structure planned and realized with the theme of "disaster-resistant, safe, and secure airports"! A case study adopted at Haneda Airport Terminal 2 is currently available for viewing.

A cushion-type membrane structure that combines ETFE and a non-combustible membrane material of 500 microns. By continuously installing 318 cushion units measuring 3m x 9m, we constructed a membrane roof space of 6,500 square meters. In this project, there were two major themes to address: fire resistance of the roof and thermal insulation of the roof. The fire resistance was resolved by sandwiching a non-combustible membrane between the ETFE cushions. The thermal insulation was addressed by creating an air layer in the cushion type and applying special printing to the ETFE. In particular, the combination of ETFE cushions and non-combustible membranes requires very high technology in all processes of design, manufacturing, and construction. Our company verified and established its performance through membrane analysis programs, experiments on various details, and validation with full-scale mock-ups. Additionally, we also developed the air supply system and maintenance plan. *Details of this project are published in the June 25, 2020 issue of Nikkei Architecture. Please take a look.
